- Canned MacArthur after he wanted to use atomic bomb technology in an immoral way
- Truman Doctrine (seeked to contain communism from spreading)
- Wanted to have technology/weaponry (ex. the atomic bomb) but not necessarily use it
- He did however decide to use nuclear weapons against Japan in an attempt to end the war
- MUCH MUCH MORE TO HIS PRESIDENCY :)
